  Lead person responsible for water meter replacements and testing of two inch and smaller meters. Coordinate with industrial and commercial customers for replacement of large meters. Pack, ship, and keep records of large meters, eight inch through three inch, sent to outside testing facility. Supervise second meter technician when needed. Completed the inspection and reporting of cross-connection program for residential properties. Create purchase orders for the acquisition of needed parts and meters. Complete year-end inventory of meters. Responsible for making all small water service taps and recording measurements to be added to GIS system. Thawing of frozen services or providing temporary water to affected homes and businesses. Assisting the distribution crews with water service repairs and water main breaks. Responding to water customer complaints. Locating, operating and repair of curb stops and boxes in the distribution system. Show less
