    • Ministry of Agriculture of the Commonwealth of Dominica

      May 2018 - Aug 2018
      Agriculture Restoration Intern

This position allowed me to work alongside Dominican farmers on the North/Northeastern part of the island, in an effort to facilitate farm land rehabilitation through, reforestation projects, plant propagation, among others.Through this opportunity, I met and discussed with farmers from different facets of agriculture represented on the island, from horticulture to poultry farming. This experience confirmed my passion for working with farmers of developing countries as I learned so much more outside of the classroom, while at the same time incorporating my skills and knowledge learned from the classroom to the field.
