For this new stage I carried out a redesign of the old readout electronics that meetsthe requirements of the new telescope, and that will be assembled and tested atCaltech (CA) during summer/fall 2019.This is why the scholarship offered by Mitacs Globalink is a great opportunity for meas to see my PhD research project in action. Spending some months working atCaltech while my redesign gets tested will give me the chance to help assembling, testing, characterizing the module I designed for this new stage of the experiment. Thanks to this unique opening, I will also directly work on cryogenic detectors, gaining a fundamental experience for my research path and academic future. Moreover, it will give me the possibility to help the BICEP team with the knowledge Ihave been acquiring thanks to all the work done at the UBC ExperimentalCosmology lab, worldwide known for designing and providing support for readoutelectronics to many CMB telescopes.
