Jul 1982 - Jul 1989Regional Operations Manager• Was recruited as Area Manager for five Houston area Video Concepts stores while company owned by Jack Eckerd Company.• Became Regional Manager and transferred to Los Angeles to oversee expansion of stores in California, Arizona, and Nevada after Tandy Name Brands purchased company.• Responsible for management of 19 stores and 3 warehouses. Oversaw performance of approximately 300 employees including managers, assistant managers, training, sales, warehouse, and delivery.• Worked with store managers on budgets, and management tracking.
