  I was a member of the Biology department at Vincennes University. As an Assistant Professor my role was to design and implement curriculum related to Microbiology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Genetics, and Biology for non-majors. In addition to my full teaching load, I was also responsible for acting as an academic advisor to students who claimed Pre-Medicine as their track in the Biology Major.

  Graduate Research And Teaching Assistant

  As a Graduate Research Assistant, I have worked with Dr. Wendy Beane on her NSF Career Grant to fulfill the education requirements. My work has involved designing the research project associated with the grant to evaluate student learning in a Course-based Undergraduate Research Experience. Along with the design of the research projects, I also collect and analyze all student created data. Currently, I am in the process of writing up the preliminary results for publication which will also fulfill the requirements of my dissertation for my degree.As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, I was responsible for teaching a biology lecture/lab to elementary education majors. I collaborated with fellow graduate students and our faculty supervisor to revise curriculum in order to meet the Next Generation Science Standards. Show less

  This organization acts as an external evaluator for individuals and organizations that are grant holders. As a Graduate Research Assistant, I aided in the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. I would write and submit evaluation reports commission to SAMPI. I would collaborate with my fellow colleagues to meet deadlines.
