  Invaluable experience riding horses at all levels, I was routinely tasked with daily care of horses (grooming, feeding, turn-out, medicating, first-aid, etc.), learned and grew in the field of organization and management at competitions on both the stable side and show management side. Taught introductory lessons, and later expanded into managing summer pony camps for youth.

  Began as an intern and expanded to Event Manager with organization running local horse shows intended to elevate the caliber of equestrian sport. Experience with Jumpernite, an established winter series with a strong clientele and high expectations for customer care, transitioned into working on the inaugural year of the Washington Emerald Classic, a summer competition looking to become the Nordstrom of horse shows. Duties included designing and building courses, organizing ribbons and prizes, running back gate, and working in show office. Experience driving lights and sirens while responding to calls and transporting critical patients in highly trafficked areas. Responsible for ensuring ambulance and all equipment is properly decontaminated before and after each patient contact and for stocking ambulance supplies coming onto and off of shift.
