Oct 2008 - Jan 2011Platoon LeaderUS Army Military Police officer responsible for security and operations as well as health, welfare, and leadership for 42 Soldiers. Assigned as Platoon Leader during pre-deployment and remained in charge of Platoon throughout deployment to the Al-Anbar Province of Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Responsible for training management and development of three Iraqi Police Districts totaling over 2,000 Iraqi Police officers. Assisted in development of training program for Iraqi Police Investigators in crime scene exploitation and anti-terrorism in order to increase the capabilities and resources available to Iraqi Police pursuant to their assigned mission of reducing criminal and insurgent activity in Al-Anbar Province. Assigned as Investigating Officer for seven Commander’s Inquiries and criminal investigations throughout the deployment.
