The British Gas Energy Trust funds the post which I work on at this moment in time.I provide free, independent and confidential help and advice in all matters of debt. Covering help at court with rent and mortgage arrears, Charging Orders and bankruptcy. Working with and taking referrals from all partnership agencies across Wales.I also provide help and advice regarding legal issues of mortgage and rent arrears as well as consumer debt to Shelter Cymru caseworkers and Tenancy Support workers, local advice agencies and other charities. Previous to working at Shelter Cymru I spend 6 years at Wrexham Citizens Advice Bureau working under the Community Legal Services (CLS) Legal Aid Debt Franchise.I am a member of the Institute of Money Advisers (IMA), and the representative for North Wales and I sit on the IMA Council. In my spare time (when I can find it) I help and assists a number of local and national charities to help and provide support to families and their dependents. Show less
