    • Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

      Jan 2008 - Jun 2012

I researched the possible dynamics of earths magnetic field as a function of tidal oscillations. The research was used to create a sensor for L.I.G.O (Laser interferometer for gravitational wave observation) to reduce false readings. - Modeled and built the sensor.- Performed research and analysis. - The working sensor stands at the university. Graded assignments for "Electricity and Magnetism 1 for Engineers". The course covered electrostatics (Gauss's law, Coulomb's law...), magneto-statics(Ampere's Law, Biot-Savart's Law...), and circuits. I tutored students in physics and math. Specifically electro-statics, magneto-statics, electrodynamics, and DC/AC circuits. I hosted and ran group work sessions. Physics Student

Founding Team Member and Lead Facilitator

Filament is a startup that delivers meeting space, facilitation, and amenities in a single package. My responsibilities included strategic planning, product development, establishing operations, and managing services.Managed a consulting project for the largest non-profit healthcare provider’s adoption of tele-medicine, specifically in the tele-behavioral space.Developed product concepts for improving our facilitated meetings. These were physical products which required cheap MVP development and direct customer engagement. We used a Lean Startup approach to building the products. As a startup you have to start from scratch. This means creating processes and procedures for the business giving it structure. Writing copy to get people excited about what we were doing. Building the operations model for how we'll deliver and create value. Working and managing designers to create marketing materials. Meeting with clients and delivering on our value proposition. • Slalom

      Jul 2018 - Oct 2022

Slalom is a full-service management consulting firm. I’ve worked in telecom, entertainment, investment banking & asset management, vehicle management, financial analytics & research, and healthcare. My last client at Slalom was developing a new platform within the telecom space. My role was the Sr. TPM for the program and I led the development of the educational experience that internal and external engineers would use to learn how to develop software with the platform. I led a team of technical writers and engineers to define and execute a new technical authoring process, growing the technical authorship skill set at my client. This led to hiring a team of technical writers, going from 1 to 10. Collaborating with product and engineering I developed the authoring strategy and the associated document portal roadmaps for various sub-teams/products. This allowed us to bring in a tool enabling our technical authors to co-author technical documents real-time and reduced our review timeline by several weeks to a few days. Partnered with Product & Engineering to implement technology solutions driving documentation processes at scale allowing us to increase our authoring rate of new educational documents by 62%.Coordinated with cross-functional programs (partner teams, engineering teams, product management, outside-customers) with roadmap development, process development, allowing us to coordinate our documentation releases along with software releases reducing the lag between the two from a few weeks to zero. Before that, I was brought on as a TPM at a media company in the UK helping them deliver a high ende television, their first ever TV platform in the UK by providing training around Operational Excellence, Product Delivery, and Engineering Delivery. My team and I introduced and trained my client Agile methodologies a unlocked engineering predictability allowing teams to go from 12% completion rate of proposed work to 78%. Show less Slalom is a full service management consulting firm. The industries I’ve worked in are, investment banking & asset management, vehicle management, financial analytics & research, aerospace, and healthcare.Managed product development with Agile cross-functional teams for several large scale technical products with a budgets of several hundred thousand to 2.5 million dollars. One notable project was a cloud migration of a key platform for a fleet rental agency. I led the technical team as we created a micro services architecture in AWS cloud. Our stack was comprised of Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Zuul, Dynatrace, and Vue.Js. Working closely with senior leadership to identify growth opportunities for key business drivers - determining product roadmaps, customer growth opportunities and how to capture new markets, process improvements, facilitated product demos and design workshops. Led technical strategy initiatives for my clients - aligning multiple stakeholders, working closely with engineering teams to make key technology determinations, and creating roadmaps for future technical states. Oct 2022 - Jun 2024
      Sr. Technical Program Manager Twitch

As a Sr. TPM at Twitch my role was to solve complex ambiguous problems through strategy development, delivering new solutions, aligning roadmaps across multiple organizations, and weighing relative priorities against Twitch’s objectives. Drove organic growth of Twitch engineers adopting our client availability framework. Twitch went from being able to measure ~5% of its front-end experience to being able to measure 100% of its front-end experience. Saved the org ~46 million dollars in lost revenue from front-end errors which led to things like unsuccessful payment funnels. Unlocked the ability to measure across each of our platforms (Web, iOS, Android, Living Room, etc). Enabled Twitch to measure down to the event timeframe, going from 24 data points a day to millions a day.Removed bot data from skewing our front-end measurements which allowed us to have more accurate data of our front-end user experience reducing our false error rate by up to 20% for certain teams Show less
