      Jan 2009 - Mar 2012
Graphic Artist / Printer / Print Finisher

I worked in a key role as part of the Signs, Exhibitions and Displays Team. I used the Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis to create and prepare artwork for digital print, as well as Shiraz RIP software to operate Mimaki JV33 solvent ink printers and a Canon iPF9000S large format printer. This role provided me with experience in producing a range of sign and display projects such as vehicle livery, shop signage, promotional banners and exhibition stands. I was involved from the initial designs, through to production and the final installation. Larger projects included design and installation of exhibition stands for Offshore Europe and All Energy events.I referred to corporate branding guidelines when creating external and internal signage for large companies within the Aberdeenshire area. Having the ability to adapt and be flexible was crucial in order to regularly provide clients with creative ideas that met their requirements. Often had to adhere to strict deadlines which required efficient time management and organisational skills. Show less

      Mar 2012 - Sept 2014
      Graphic Designer

Designed a variety of printed and digital work for the sole client, Aberdeen Asset Management (AAM), using an effective mix of the Adobe Creative Suite on a daily basis. This included using DTP skills to make a text heavy document easy to read and pleasing on the eye, using brand guidelines to their full potential to create eye-catching adverts and pushing the boundaries of the brand to produce visually stimulating bespoke brochures. My skills constantly evolved and progressed during my time here, this was proved when asked to produce the 2013 Annual Report for AAM. This project required good project management, good communication with a variety of clients and collaborating with a London design agency for brand aspects. Co-lead the Digital Marketing team which involves editing and dispatching interactive emails via Eloqua as well as training colleagues on the process. Show less
