  Low-carbon Hydrogen Safety Engineer - Gas dispersion, explosion, and detection philosophy

  On April 2, 2019, the EDF Group strengthened its commitment to the energy transition by creating Hynamics, a subsidiary incubated by EDF PULSE CROISSANCE , the Group's start-up incubator.Hynamics, which aims to make EDF a key player in the hydrogen industry in France and abroad, offers a low-carbon hydrogen product produced by water electrolysis for :1) Industrial customers for whom hydrogen is a necessary raw material;2) Public and professional mobility, by helping to create a network with production and distribution stations to supply hydrogen to fleets of heavy vehicles such as trucks, trains, buses, river and maritimeor commercial vehicles,As part of the HSE and Hydrogen industrial safety team, I am in charge of:-Contrbuting to Research & Development projects related to industrial safety, such as: hydrogen dispersion and explosion in confined environments and development of safety rules for hydrogen storage.-Participating in the development of a fire and gas detection philosophy to standardise the detection of hydrogen leaks on Hynamic's projects in order to optimise fire detection.
