  Hospital capacity 1200beds. As a member of the management board and clinical advisor of the CEO, I oversee the development of planning and management of high priority projects which will pave the way to the hospital’s full autonomy. My major roles are: Communicating the hospital strategic vision and values hospital wide, defining and adjusting business strategies, setting strategic measures, directing stakeholders, consolidating improvements.Achievements: As a consultant and director of major hospital projects, I oversee the launching and implementation of the new management system of the outpatient department (OPD) which receives more than 2000 patients per day. As clinical advisor of the CEO, I manage and oversee the creation of many administrative policies and procedures regulating the workload analysis, patient flow inside and outside AE, conflicts between clinical teams and interdepartmental communication. Led an executive committee which is responsible of the performance improvement in the Accident and Emergency department that admits more than 1000 citizen and resident on a daily basis. Created a multidisciplinary team who succeeded in implementing the Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) for the first time in Bahrain. This has contributed significantly in decreasing the waiting times in AE and improving patient flow and satisfaction. This new management system of emergency services helped the AE directors to better prepared to meet requirements of the department expansion project which will be increased to its full capacity:123 emergency beds. Directed the development of many new projects such as:o Medical transportation of non-urgent patients.o Creation of acute hemodialysis unit.o Creation of sleep laboratory and expansion of the respiratory care unit.o In process, creation of pulmonary rehabilitation and home respiratory care units.
