  North West Simulation Education Network Manager

  The North West Simulation Network focusses on increasing the capacity and capability of simulation in the NW accross all NHS organisations and partner academic institutions. The network supports innovation and quality improvement work to improve patient safety using a spectrum of simulation. Key to our work is a focus in quality assurance and educational governance which is embedded in our activity.We also support a regional and national human factors and patient safety agenda.

  Support the trust with SUI / Never event systems reviews using human factor approaches such as HFACS, AcciMap, SEIPs and BowTie analysis. Support group, site and divisional governance teams with pro-active patient safety developments by supporting / leading a range of ergonomic and behavioural developments through application of Safety II, FRAM, observations and developing an understanding of Work As Done.
