      Express Store Assistant Manager (2nd Key Holder)

      In this role, I was responsible for the daily operations of running this retail location. This included scheduling employee hours, managing daily store duties to be completed, merchandising, and setting up weekly sales. Also, opening and closing the store on time, handling the nightly deposit, and monitoring daily sales. The Chrismas rush was the busiest time of year and required very sensitive customer service. I am most proud that during my time here we worked extremely hard on the Autism Speaks campaign, becoming the second highest Express store for donations in the country in 2012! Show less

      In these roles, I was responsible for running the Caroma line in the USA. This included providing excellent customer service to retain our customer base, processing orders, invoicing, and project coordination. The majority of projects were hotels in the California area and included serval Marriott International locations. I processed the orders, worked with a freight broker for timely delivery, and invoiced the project once completed. This role required a great deal of organization by using excel to track shipments, the amount of product used, returns, and losses. In the customer service side of my role, I was known for creating short videos and pdf "how to" guides to assist customers on product issues. This level of service created many happy and loyal customers and was one of my favourite parts of the job. Show less

      In this position my responsibility was to ensure the smooth delivery of all plumbing fixture products to a project site. I reviewed the shop drawings to ensure approved items matched what the customer was ordering. I then monitored when the products were required vs. what the ETA's of the products would be. Once items arrived I released deliveries per the project schedule, or as needed as per the site foreman. This role required a great deal of organization and it was imperative to have effective communication skills to keep everyone on the same page. To stay organized I used Microsoft Excel and kept up to date binders with all relevant project information at hand. I also took great care to effectively manage my email box. I used daily reminders in Outlook so I knew where to place my focus for the day, when to review important emails, and as a reminder of who needs to be contacted.I took great pride in working as quickly and efficiently with customers that had a question, requested an alternate product be provided, or had an issue arise. When a customer needed assistance, I jumped right in and figured out a solution as quickly as possible. Show less
