Currently manage the Data & Process Governance squad (5 reports) within the Retail & Commercial Risk Infrastructure Tribe. The squad scope has change somewhat over time, but at various points has covered the following:*Retail Risk Data Model design & implementation in Meta Data tool*Meta Data tool enhancements*Meta Data governance (in line with the Tribe release train)*Tribe Operational Risk Profile (including Business Environment context, Key Risks & Controls, Key Risk Indicators, obligation mapping)*Tribe Assurance Activities (Event management, project Op Risk Assessment review, Audit responses, Information Security Assessment support etc.)*Tribe Playbook oversight and governance activities*Tribe documentation centralisation and template creation*Comprehensive Credit Reporting solution monitoring, reporting, and overseeing the customer initiated correction request process (assessment and data correction as required). Also oversee ad hoc analysis and data correction in line with credit risk / operations partners as required.NOTE that in this role due to restrictions on staffing, I also perform BA activities and Data Analysis. Show less This role was a secondment to second line Operational Risk & Compliance to cover a lady on Maternity Leave. I took this on to get broader Risk experience. This role supported and oversaw the Assurance function within Australia Operations (Assessment, Fulfilment, Fraud, Complaints & Disputes and others). The type of work undertaken included:*Oversight of Events raised by the Operations steams and ensuring timely and compliant resolution.*Attending Business Risk Management Forums and providing Regulatory updates for them*In Use Reviews and Deep Dive Analysis of various processes (eg. Commercial Collections) with report back to management*Key Risk and Control reviews and write ups for the redesign of the ANZ Operational risk system Show less Managed the Unsecured Acquisitions Risk team (3 reports). Oversaw over 100 pieces of work that included:*Re-write of the Risk section (including Risk Triggers) of the Business Writing Strategy for each of Consumer Card, Personal Loan and Overdraft portfolios.*Personal Loan Scorecard cut-off analysis and implementation*Overdraft ASIC response (data investigation & writeup) in conjunction with Legal and Compliance*Credit Risk strategy development for a number of bank projects (eg. new Travel Card, Tier Adjustment, Cards Downsell)*Income Linked HEM*Standardised Statement of Position & Serviceability treatment*Strategy Change Framework*Credit Assessment Delegation Framework, Issuance and Governance Show less Internal consultant. Working with a number of internal bank projects to ensure alignment to the Retail Risk strategy and to provide decision system services. These included:*Small Business aquisitions (new banker desktop link to decision engine)*Mortgage Multi-Securities (enhancement from single security decisions) & Fast & Simple Refinance (Conduct Check)*Personal Loans aquisitions (new Banker desktop link to decision engine)Also responsible for ensuring optimal Decision System design and integration to the Common Decision platform. Show less To prepare for Comprehensive Credit Reporting, I joined the CCR project - Phase 1, which was to centralise and upgrade the bank retail decision systems as well as build a new bureau link in preparation for CCR (to come later). I initially worked on Program Scope and Requirements, and also acted as the Decision Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) to assist with high level design. Moved on to:*Lead the Data Stream (1 report) for Cards / Personal Loans migration to the Common Decision Platform.*Lead the Asset Finance stream (3 reports) for migration to the Common Decision platform - unfortunately ANZ sold the Esanda business just as we were ready to start build. As the business case fell away, this stream of work was halted. This was a real shame as we'd prepared really well and I was confident that the stream would have had a smooth run to deliver to schedule (which is almost unheard of with such projects). Show less
