      - Developed DOE of photoluminescence and IR spectra for the semiconductor devices: 2D monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides on a ferromagnetic substrate in the magnetic fields. Assessed van der Waals heterostructure to demonstrate the spin–valley degree of freedom for valleytronics- Performed optical spectroscopic experiments investigating the symmetry breaking in the high-temperature superconductors (HTS) in various doping, temperature, and energy. Developed optical physics models to explain those models into physical demonstrations- Improved statistical data process and analysis using Minitab, MATLAB, and Python- Coordinated and communicated with all levels of inter-department organizations for SUNY Cryogenic facility system including UB EH&S and manage the Cryogenic facility- Created, implemented, and updated data log/SOP and managed lab equipment/supplies purchase. Arranged weekly group meetings and meetings with collaborators Show less

      Senior Metrology Engineer

      • Collaborated with R&D to enhance legacy instruments to modern instruments, resulting in a 50% reduction in testing time while achieving more precise measurement outcomes.• Conducted over 20 instrument validations with cross-functional teams, developing comprehensive validation documentation, including validation plans, user requirement specifications, and IO/OQ/PQ protocols. Collaborated with laboratory managers to execute protocols and necessary approvals.• Successfully transferred five new optical metrology instruments and methods facilitating contact lens measurement from R&D to production for a new platform support.• Actively involved in cross-functional investigation teams, addressing daily operational challenges and conducting long-term root cause analysis for new product startups.• Provided expert technical advice and recommendations to inspection laboratories in the production equipment troubleshooting, measurement results analysis, and operation procedures. Trained several technicians in the laboratory on troubleshooting frequent issues to reduce the release testing downtime.• Supported product stewardship and production teams by analyzing lens inspection data trends with Minitab, identifying root causes of out-of-specification or expectation data.• Authored standard operation procedures (SOPs), validation documents, troubleshooting reports, and training guides, ensuring clear communication and knowledge transfer to area supervisors.• Leveraged subject matter expertise to make informed decisions that facilitated rapid resolutions and minimized production downtime.
