This included building relationships with my brokers, providing quotations, negotiating renewals, providing and receiving reports, analysing my portfolio and implementing actions where necessary to achieve a profitable portfolio.

  I am responsible for running the companies Administrators on a National basis. One of my duties is to standardize the administrators in certain vital functions for example introducing monthly reports that we required from them. This helps to ensure that we have more control on business that is written on external platforms. I am responsible for approving new brokers being added to the administrators platform and I track new and cancelled brokers on each administrators platform (including books of business per broker within the administrator). I also approve book take overs or cancellations per broker under each administrator. I am responsible for the governance of each administrator ensuring that we abide by all the FSB and FAIS requirements. I am responsible for the loss ratio's of each administrator as well as implementing actions to reduce their loss ratio's to acceptable levels.
