  Quarry Manager

  My time with breedon may only be short but I started as a shovel driver working towards quarry supervisor. I am now the Quarry Manager looking after the day to day running. This includes the safe operation of our wash plant producing clean materials for resale and bagging for external builders merchant's. Running of the bagging plant and other screens. Making sure all paperwork is completed when we have contractors on site doing repairs. When our own fitter is on site doing maintenance making sure all safety measures are in place and also assist him when needed. Checking of the landfill site to ensure correct tipping and no wrong materials end up in the landfill. All in all I am enjoying my current job with Breedon. They have sent me on a lot of courses to further enhance my job role and experience. Show less
