      I've been involved in the Firmware development (C Language) of embedded systems related to railway infrastructural diagnostic activities. The goal was the realization of a HW architecture consists of a network of sensors connected to a Xilinx Board, in order to acquire and store data. The firmware has been built for Linux Embedded OS and runs on "Microblaze" Soft-Core. At the end the of the project, the system has been installed on a diagnostic train for the monitoring of the contact wire (by Infrared line-cam) and platforms (by profilometer sensors). Show less
