  Helped launch a not-for-profit business that sells affordable and sustainable menstrual products, specifically period underwear, wiht the goal of helping underprivileged girls.The mission of Saathi is to be sustainable and eradicate period poverty - a global, highly stigmatised issue. We manufacture and design our own product, selling them with a buy-one-to-give-one policy.We have partnered with DHL as part of their CSR initiative to deliver internationally to places like Burkina Faso and Uganda. $5000 worth of pairs have already been shipped and thus donated to women in need. Saathi also works with the KCS Foundation in Bihar, Eastern India (one of the poorest and most rural states), Jeev Seva in Bhopal and DHL in Uganda and Burkina Faso to educate women about menstrual hygiene and provide them with Saathi’s products.I currently handle the financial operations of the company, and am responsible for our growth strategy, cost structure, investments, as well as funding and resource allocation.More information can be found at @saathi.ae Show less

  I spent two weeks interning at CleanTech Global Renewables in the Philippines, an RE company based in Silang, specialising in solar projects. During my experience I assisted with both wind and solar project development, and gained valuable insights on the future of RE projects, markets and technological advancements in the industry. I also had the pleasure of visiting both solar and wind power plants in person, which enabled me to witness the circuitry and designs first hand, as well as develop a more in-depth understanding of the mechanics behind PV and wind farm design, project management and operations.
