      Chief Engineer, System Design Technologies for Modular and Blade Servers.Technical leader for portable modular data centers and for modular and blade servers. Interface to Site and Facility Services in Global Technology Services (GTS). Team leader for the system electrical design and integration of modular and blade servers. Responsible for signal and power distribution integrity, and system level timings for complex multiple board system designs; bringing these products to successful completion with innovative features. Responsible for establishing specifications, strategies and road maps for semiconductor component technologies. Provide expertise on electrical packaging design and modeling for module and board level noise avoidance and system timing closure. Received two Outstanding Innovation Awards, published more than 90 refereed conference and journal papers and filed over 80 patents. Awarded Master Inventor in 2006, elected to IBM Academy of Technology in 2008 and awarded IEEE Fellow grade in 2008 for contributions to design and noise control for power and signal distribution in digital systems. Special Assignments: Chaired the electro-mechanical working group (EWG) of the Infiniband Trade Association, responsible for the development of electrical, mechanical and physical layer specifications. The Cases Group, LLC is a design and consulting services firm serving the global market with top quality and experienced designer and consultants who have a keen interest in customer satisfaction through innovation and diversity in the marketplace supported by over 126 years of combined experience. We focus on traditional and very complex designs, implementations and evaluations in the realm of electrical, physical and logical designs of high speed systems.The staff consists of a group of experienced designers whose skills and experience cover a very broad segment of the electrical design, modeling and verification of high speed digital systems. The company’s focus is on the design, modeling and simulation of the electronic packaging of the digital systems including chip packaging, system printed circuit boards, and cabling assemblies; including system timing closure, system design verification and physical design guidelines.Moises Cases, the founder, has over 39 years of progressive experience in very-large scale integration (VLSI) chip and package designs, in system level electrical and package designs, and in complex project and people management. He retired as a Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor from the IBM Corporation, System and Technology Group (STG). He was elected to the IBM Academy of Technology in 2008. He is a Fellow member of IEEE society and a member of Tau Beta Pi and Eta Kappa Nu honor societies. Moises Cases received the Outstanding Sustained Technical Contribution Award from IEEE CPMT society in May 2009.The Cases Group was selected as one of the "Top Ranked Network Integration Firms" by The Austin Business Journal magazine, as published in their September 2013 issue.
