  Analyzed a rental dataset with more than 19L records, spread across more than 22 Real Estate Hotspots in India, to create a unique and noble City-wise Rental Price Index.• To satisfy the objective of determining city-wise Rental Price Indices, a total number of more than 19L data generated from a secondary source (Rental Advertisement Data) was closely analyzed based on various parameters and attributes pertaining to the listed properties (like Price, Area of Property, Amenities, etc). The steps of analysis involved cleaning and extracting the dataset using tools like R- Studio, SPSS, and MS Excel. The data was then extracted city-wise and further divided into region-wise, micro-market wise and ultimately zone-wise for those micro-markets. In order to arrive at the desired indices, an iterative modeling procedure was followed for the various quarters. Based on the Rental Price Index that was computed, the zone-wise fluctuation in the Rental Prices of a particular city was closely researched and analyzed, thereby further examining the effects of the fluctuation through secondary research.• Also, partly worked on a project involving the classification of builders into consolidated practice, independent practice, and joint venture practice by analyzing various parameters like project segment, market performance, delay and absorption rate, project timeline, construction periods, etc. and thereby researching to find if consolidation was practiced amongst the various developers in India.
