  • Coordinating for scheduling and planning day to day activities• Reporting to Manager for daily activities related scope of work• Co-ordinating with team members according to daily inspection/QC activities• Attending QA/QC meetings with clients on daily basis• Supervision and monitoring of Quality control team in the process of Quality Control• Preparation / Reviewing of Pre-Production & Post Production documents.• Preparation / Reviewing of WPS / PQR / WQT, Weld plan, Various NDT Procedures• Preparation / Reviewing of ITP• Preparation of Inspection schedule.• Preparation of Welding inspection requirements & NDT plan.• Determination of Metallurgical and Mechanical tests requirements such as hardness, macro, micro, tensile strength, impact strength etc.• Determination of positive alloy material investigation to find the chemical elements.(PMI)• Verification of Personal Qualifications for NDT personnel & Welders• Document control of quality records & inspection test reports as per quality system procedures• Associating with Classification Surveyors, Clients & Third party inspectors.• New Building (Rig structure) inspection According to AWS D1.1 & ABS Class rules• Surveillance of welding consumables and welding process SMAW, SAW, FACW, GMAW etc.• Witnessing hose, vacuum box, pneumatic & hydrostatic tests.• Preparation of punch lists • Preparation of inspection reports such as daily fabrication & welding activity reports and all related documents for final acceptance.
