I employ social and emotional intelligence to foster and maintain relationships with student groups, faculty, and staff at colleges and universities, including HBCUs. I collaborated with employee resource groups (ERGs) to organize and initiate internal and external diversity recruitment events and programs. I regularly researched and assessed market data to supplement recruitment strategies. I vetted and delivered recommendations on company policies, procedures, and processes involving HR and Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring smooth and inclusive candidate experiences. ๐Š๐ž๐ฒ ๐€๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐๐ž๐ฌโžฅ Focused on results to develop a world-class internship program maintaining +45% of interns per annum for full-time roles. โžฅ Exceeded internal and external benchmark metrics by developing and establishing a D&I recruiting strategy and partnering with the CEO and other executive leaders to roll out the 1st DEI initiative. โžฅ Diversity & Inclusion Thought Leader pioneering workforce diversity reporting, allocating best practices, forming programs driving the business strategy, and showcasing the impact of D&I through bottom-line results; rolled out a local strategy that later evolved into a national strategy, guaranteeing a pipeline of talent while utilizing an internship program for the AI Team; received praise from the Head of AI regarding quality candidates within 3 years. โžฅ Produced a tangible, positive impact by launching a 6-week hiring initiative to acquire a cohort of 20 recent college graduates into software development roles, which could be duplicated year-round. โžฅ Originated and established New Intern Orientation and summer programming for 65 interns annually. โžฅ Served as Coach/Leader in the company leading leadership program for 4 years to train a group of mid-level leaders for 9 months annually. Show less I fostered and retained solid partnerships with colleges and universities to gain access to diverse top talent. I directed the internship program and oversaw strategic partnerships with colleges and universities. I monitored 90% of the recruitment initiative across the organization and completed marketing analysis to ensure the company met industry best practices. I partnered with Marketing/Communications teams to rebrand recruiting collateral. ๐Š๐ž๐ฒ ๐€๐œ๐œ๐จ๐ฅ๐š๐๐ž๐ฌโžฅ Developed a reputation for producing exemplary results within 2 years by increasing the number of interns hired to 65 per year (predecessor attained 20-25 interns). โžฅ Formulated and directed internship program maintaining 45% of interns for future full-time employment. โžฅ Showed the organization that new hires didnโ€™t need 3-4 years of experience for entry-level roles. โžฅ Pinpointed areas of needed improvement to form and establish 1st major diversity recruitment effort to acquire recent college graduates to join the IT Team by starting and directing collective effort with representatives in business schools, computer science departments, and career centers at 4 regional universities.
