      Project Names & Brief Description:Middle East Airlines Facilities Office Building (MFOB) at Rafic Hariri International Airport.The USD 42 million project comprises high standard offices, dormitories, MEA Call Center and commercial areas. It is composed of 4 Basements, 1 GF, 4 Upper Floors and Roof, including landscape, roads, infrastructure utilities and sidewalks with a total built-up area of 46,000 sq.m.The Architect and Engineer on MFOB Project is Khatib & Alami.Middle East Airlines Training Center (MTC) at Rafic Hariri International Airport.This iconic USD 54 million training center project comprises aviation training centers (caters different types of flight simulators including emergency landing/evacuation simulators), miscellaneous types of offices and classrooms with the latest audio-visual systems, state of the art circular auditorium with a capacity for 300 persons contained in a 25m diameter and 18 m high reinforced concrete dome cladded with 1,450 piece of 3mm triangular stainless steel super mirror panels, conferences and dining halls, VIP and multipurpose rooms, MEA library, and a kitchen to serve 400 persons. The training center project is composed of 4 Basements, 1 Lower GF, 1 Upper GF, 3 Upper Floors and Roof, including landscape, water mirrors, roads and sidewalks with a total built-up area of 43,500 sq.m.The 3 year project, extended as a result of substantial design modifications and upgrade to keep abreast the newest aviation technologies.The Architect and Engineer on MTC Project is Khatib & Alami.
