  The Hepworth Wakefield is the largest purpose built Art Gallery outside of London which opened in May 2011. The building was constructed by Laing O’Rourke and designed by award winning Architect David Chipperfield at a cost of £35 million which was mostly funded by Wakefield Council. The building has been nominated for many industry Architectural, Building and Leisure awardsTook the building over from the construction company and oversaw the building through its Defect Rectification period through to opening and then the subsequent running of the building after launch. Helped manage all of the various fit-outs that took place and worked with Turner Townsend who were Project Managers for the Council to ensure the building was ready for launch. Responsible for implementing all Health, Safety, Environmental and Contractor Management onsitePart of Business Continuity, Disaster and Crises Management TeamSet up the Maintenance systems onsite, producing an Asset Register which then led to me to produce the best cost Planned Maintenance system for the site ensuring at all times that all Statutory maintenance requirements were met. Helped to produce a 30 year Life-cycle report for Wakefield Council which informed them of budgetary requirements. Procurement, mobilisation and running of all Hard and Soft Service contracts and recruited my own in house Maintenance and Housekeeping team.
