  Presently working at, serum institute of India limited as AGM. I am leading group of 27 officers and 18 workers involved in commercial production of Hib polysaccharide @ 800 L scale . The Hib polysaccharide produced from our manufacturing facility is currently WHO International Standard for Haemophilus influenzae type b polysaccharide, NIBSC CODE 12/306 dated 20/01/2015.I have done my Masters in Microbiology from Mumbai University.I have been working in field of fermentation & Purification of last 21 years.Previously I was employed with Merind ltd, Wockhardt enterprise Mumbai for 4 years where I had gained experience in development and production of vitamin B12 @ 100 KL scale .I have been working in SIIPL pune for last 16years. In these 16years, I have gained experience in development of bacterial polysaccharide fermentations, purification of Men A and Hib bacterial polysaccharide under cGMP norms & with cGMP Documentation.I have also gained experience in manufacturing of hib conjugate vaccine in WHO approved facility. In last 20yrs I have also gained international experience in technology transfers and FAT. Show less
