  I am currently looking after the programme for replacement of major assets in and around the substation environment. My portfolio includes grid and primary substation replacement from the Scottish Borders down to North Yorkshire. Alongside my role as Programme Manager I also still cover shifts in the control room. I am authorised to operate at all voltages, including National Grid, Network Rail and DNO interfaces. Delivering large electrical projects at HV and EHV, monitoring CDM performance, managing electrical and site safety. HV and EHV switching and commissioning. Project management and preparation of tenders for work to be delivered by external contractors.
