      As a design engineer for a prefabricated metal building company, my duties included:Developing and creating structural designs for prefabricated metal buildings based on client requirements, architectural drawings, and engineering principles. Collaborating with architects, project managers, and clients to understand design objectives, functional requirements, and aesthetic preferences. Utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create detailed and accurate 2D and 3D models of building structures. Performing structural analysis and calculations to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards. Reviewing and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings to identify potential design conflicts or discrepancies and proposing suitable solutions.       I maintained the overall system condition of the roadways in eight counties of Central Ohio while coordinating with various agencies, counties, cities, villages, and residents. I performed project management duties for high profile projects. I prepared and managed the District Multi-Year Work Plan. I prepared scope of services for design projects. Additionally, I handled duties such as Asset Management, Project Planning, Budgeting, Maintenance Responsibilities, Project Management, and Estimating.I was the original author of the "Roadway Infrastructure Maintenance Responsibility Manual (RIMR)" for the Ohio Department of Transportation. Show less I was responsible for managing the inspection, inventory, and maintenance of 1,550 bridges in eight counties of Central Ohio. Throughout my tenure, I successfully executed project management duties for several high-profile bridge projects most notably the Main Street and Rich Street bridge replacement projects in Columbus, Ohio. Additionally, I provided comprehensive scope of services for bridge design and demonstrated exceptional emergency project management skills.In my role, I oversaw the District Pavements Program, where I meticulously selected, prioritized, and scheduled pavement projects. With extensive experience in bridge construction field inspection, I ensured that all projects adhered to the highest quality standards.Beyond bridge-related responsibilities, I also undertook additional duties such as the inspection, maintenance, and planning of state route pavements under the Pavement Management portfolio. By overseeing the CityWorks asset management system and associated business processes, I ensure consistent and streamlined operations throughout the department. Acting as a liaison between various divisions such as Engineering, Parks, Facilities, Streets, and Utilities, I facilitate the investigation and resolution of service requests related to public infrastructure assets.My role encompasses the strategic planning required for the maintenance of existing city assets, including utilities, roads, bikeways, pedestrian tunnels, and bridges. Emphasizing the later stages of a facility's life cycle, particularly maintenance, rehabilitation, and replacement, I direct the overall planning efforts in this regard.To ensure efficient management of public infrastructure assets, I coordinate engineering aspects such as inventorying, routine inspections, condition assessments, and scoping of rehabilitation and maintenance projects.
