Be 1 Support 1 is a Nonprofit led by some of the most amazing retired nurses that have lived and seen these struggles in the industry they are so passionate about-helping others. But someone needs to help them. Be 1 Support 1 is helping Nurses around the country with their mental health, by giving them someone to talk to, to lean on. Be1Support1 is a free mentorship program that provides a unique opportunity for an individual (mentee) to bond with and learn from an experienced nurse (mentor). It is not a clinical preceptorship, which can be defined as a short-term relationship with a co-worker to identify learning needs and assist in the development of the clinical competencies and skills necessary for success in a new job. It's even better! It is support when you need it!The mentor and mentee share personal experiences about finding the balance between school, work, and life.
