      The thesis titled 'Peroxide-assisted extraction of lignin from banana agro-waste' aimed to solve the solid waste problem while producing renewable fuel sources. The team and I used agro-waste produced from banana harvests for our research, resulting in a 6.6% lignin yield from 25g of dry biomass, which accounted for 41.25% of the total lignin content. The project was presented at two international conferences.

      In this work titled 'Process Simulation for Optimization of Methanol Synthesis by hydrogenation of CO2', it was put forward that making methanol directly from separate sources of CO2 and H2 has both inherent benefits and drawbacks, but overall, it is a more advantageous, less energy intensive, and environmentally friendly process than traditional processes using a syn gas derived from fossil fuels.
