      RNAS Culdrose is one of the largest military air bases in Europe which operates some 90 aircraft and has a work force of 2000 civilian and 1000 military personnel. The role called for acting as the Commanding Officer in the absence of the principal and as Executive Officer acting as the Chief of Staff for the station.As a member of the Executive Board, managed the delivery of the Air Station's operational and training outputs. Direct management of the general organisation, including security, discipline, welfare, facilities management, HR and public relations.Successfully managed the introduction of key initiatives including "Pay as You Dine" catering, the SLAM new build accommodation project, the Regional Prime Contracting facilities management contract and the LEAN efficiency programme.
