  The work consists in development of a custom made patch antenna for space application.The device is to fit a tight specification including among other: wide bandwidth, low profile and smooth radiation pattern. The tasks include 3D electromagnetic modelling of the antenna, extensive geometry optimization process as well as measurements of the produced prototypes. The latter covers the S-parameters measurement and the radiation pattern measurement employing the spherical near-field technique. Delivery of the flight hardware is followed by an appropriate project documentation. Show less
