  I act as a liaison between the State Chapter of Youth M.O.V.E. Arkansas and all the local chapters. Youth M.O.V.E. Arkansas is a youth empowerment program that is a division of Mid-South Mental Health Systems. M.O.V.E. stands for (M)otivating (O)thers through (V)oices of (E)xperience. We are the connection between the National Youth M.O.V.E. office and the local chapters in the state of Arkansas. Youth M.O.V.E. Arkansas is a statewide youth-led organization formed and supported by youth engaged in the ACTION for Kids System of Care Project. This organization partners with youth, adults, professionals like yourself, and other partners to help transform Arkansas’ youth-serving systems. They share their experiences as consumers of child and youth services from various public and private agencies in Arkansas and by actively participating in the re-development of those systems designed to serve young Arkansasans. Our mission statement states that we will work as a diverse team of young community leaders to create unity and unite the voices of youth while raising awareness around youth issues. We will advocate for youth rights and voice in Arkansas youth-serving systems while building a foundation that will empower youth to become successful not only in treatment but also in life.
