I was promoted to section head after 3 years as a scientist in the Behavioral Genetics Unit, where I learned to lead and manage research groups, sustaining their learning and development through cross-functional collaborations and guidance. As a scientist, I learned how to generate ideas, foster research concepts, and manage projects, with a focus on the bases of ADHD, ASD and Parkinson's disease. Our main goals include:• Establishing a reference lab to study the molecular and cellular causes of movement disorders and autism using advanced technologies and well-characterised cohorts• Conducting world-class research by initiating new research projects, applying for grants• Disseminating research findings locally and internationally through publications and presentations• Developing interdisciplinary collaborations with external organizations Show less
