      Co-Founded MerakiSpeaks (in process of being registered as a 501(c)(3) PVSA Certified NPO), an organization with the mission of bridging the gap between youth and elders through a series of initiatives such as an interview series, social impact-focused summer camp, and community events. We hope such efforts will help each of the communities feel their importance to society and help each other.Some key initiatives include: - (S)heLeads by MerakiSpeaks: Created, directed, and edited web-series based on interviews of various marginalized members of the community--namely, elderly women--and garnered over 10k total views to date. - Dada Dadis, Nana Nani Dhamaka: Hosted a festival themed event with local home Priya Living Senior Center to celebrate elders and share their stories with the youth. Invited 15+ youth to event with ~30 elders and hosted a talent show for the members of Priya Living, including a fashion show, laughter yoga, and displays of musical talent, life stories, and creativity.- Holi Hungama: Hosted spring-themed holi event for members of Priya Living to celebrate the seniors with series of activities such as flower arranging and painting. Invited youth volunteers to increase interaction between youth and seniors.- COVID-19 Awareness Series: Worked with various youth to lead COVID-19 pandemic informational project, educating youth around the globe on the status and impact of pandemic, and received city-wide recognition as a meaningful advance in the space of media.
