  Manage, supervise and mentor section, site operatives and sub-contractors to ensure high levels of engineering control and generation of appropriate records. Supporting the project manager to ensure project control, delivery requirements, cost management and effective use of resource and labour. Supporting the co-ordination of on-site activities through delivering daily briefings to the site operatives, weekly toolbox talks, and completion of a daily diary of works carried out. Notable projects include: Strengthening works of the Forth road bridge crossing, renewing and refurbishment works on Erskine bridge, installation of new cantilevered walkway on Connel bridge Oban and hanger replacements on Menai bridge Anglesey.
