      I’ve been able to showcase my skills in usability research, working to understand the user demand within an application environment. I’ve had the opportunity to work on user profiling and persona development, drafting and analysing user task flows and goals. With my expertise and my knowledge, I’ve been able to successfully draft and deliver the scoping and validation of content offering for applications, websites etc. I’ve been responsible for the navigation and information architecture design; this meant that with tactical and strategic thinking, I’ve been able to contribute to the logical ordering and grouping of information within the application and design of navigational flow between these items.I’ve been able to pioneer new interface and interaction design processes with quality wireframe templates and detailed interface designs. Playing a role in supporting business analysts, developers and visual designers, I’ve been able to work within the systems development lifecycle to specify and implement designs. It was here that I was able to strategically deliver on IT methods focused on the software development lifecycle and the business methods focused on segmentation, financial solution development and business solution development. Show less By being a part of the exciting story of this brand, I have been largely responsible for managing the User Experience Design Competency for Personal and Business Banking in South Africa. My expertise here extends across all the staff and customer-facing electronic channels of the Bank. Through my knowledge of UX Strategy, I have been able to pioneer several new ways of thinking in the research and maintenance of user ecosystems and the design and user validations testing of the electronic channels of the Bank (such as internet banking, ATMs, websites, branch staff applications etc.). One of the key aspects of my role has also been the institutionalisation of UX capabilities into the design processes of the Bank, towards establishing a mature UX practice for the organisation. By determining key physical and emotional value drivers that customers hold within these interactions, we’ve been able to successfully define customer expectations and deliver the value they have come to expect from this leading South African banking institution.Usability Design: Working within Standard Bank, I’ve largely been responsible for the usability methodology applied; overseeing projects from conception through to the execution and design of all self-service channels in order to help the brand achieve the highest levels of efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction for customers and maximising business benefits.Management Information Systems:To work for a brand like Standard bank means making great things happen in Africa. I have been able to use my skills and my drive for excellence to ensure the availability, accessibility, integrity and quality of data and information required to support the business intelligence value chain within self-service banking. Within this integral role, I’ve also been able to contribute to the development of MIS applications and integration with the enterprise data warehouse environment.
