I was responsible for organizing and leading all aspects of the technical programming within Halifax County United Soccer Club for U8 to U12 Skills Centre, U13 to U21 Performance and U12 to U18 Community Girls. My responsibilities in this role include player placement and movement processes, curriculum development and implementation, scheduling, coach education, and managing required technical resources. I was responsible for assisting with the operation of HCU Soccer Grassroots programs, providing overall efficient and effective administration and execution of the Youth Tier 2 Program, and helping on-field in the delivery of the Grassroots Program.

  As the Sport Coordinator, I offer general support to the Sport Department, focusing on National Championships, Sport Technical, International, and Coaching Programs. I am responsible for creating, organizing and leading the U SPORTS Female Apprentice Coach Program, in hopes of increasing the number of women in coaching positions across Canadian Universities, as well as managing over 10 sport technical committees. I am a direct liaison between our National Championship Host Committees and the U SPORTS office to help manage and organize the logistics leading up to all U SPORTS National Championships. Show less
