      Management of the International Designers and the in House checks and verifications of the entire design: top-down excavation and construction of the stations, ventilation shafts, TBM works (mounting and installation phases, start up and excavation phase), dewatering and consolidation works in order to comply with the agreed Company strategy, defined during the tender phase, and subsequently with the foreseen and expected budget in collaboration with the Project Control Manager and the Planner Manager.       Since February 2020 I started managing a second project of rehabilitation of the railway line Frontiera- Curtici - Simeria, namely Section 2A, while continuing to manage also Section 2B.The contract related to Section 2A includes the execution of infrastructure/superstructure/architecture/installations and equipment Works (i.e. embankments, bridges, box culvert, viaducts and overpasses, consolidations works, environmental protection works, superstructure, architecture and structural works of the stations, electrical, sanitary and thermo-technical installations, telecommunication, power supply, electrification, etc.) for the railway section between km 611 of the line and Barzava. The works include 4 stations, 12 km of the new line and 29 km of the rehabilitated line, 13 bridges (2 of them overpassing the Mures river). The total length of this segment of the railway line is approximately 41 km. Kindly notice that the works included in Section 2B contract are listed in my previous position of my profile.The cumulated contract value of both projects (FIDIC Red) is approximately 750 million euros. The duration of the works stipulated in the Contracts is 36 months for both Sections. At the moment of my appointment on Section2A the completion rate of the Works was approximately equal to 35%.As Project Manager of both Joint Venture Astaldi – FCC - Salcef – Thales Construct my duties are mainly to ensure the achievement of the cost - quality - time objectives of the Contracts, to govern all the factors of production, to manage the contractual aspects of the Project and the contacts with the Client, the Engineer and the Joint Venture partners, to manage the claiming activities, to represent the Company in the Project. The total length of the railway line is approximately 36 km.The contract value (FIDIC Red) is 379.2 million euros. The duration of the works stipulated in the Contract is 36 months.At the moment of my appointment the completion rate of the Works was approximately equal to 5%.As Project Manager of the Joint Venture Astaldi – FCC - Salcef – Thales Construct my duties are mainly to ensure the achievement of the cost - quality - time objectives of the Contract, to govern all the factors of production, to manage the contractual aspects of the Project and the contacts with the Client, the Engineer and the Joint Venture partners, to manage the claiming activities, to represent the Company in the Project. Meno dettagli The Contract includes the execution of architectural Works/finishing (granite/tiles paving, internal walls, luminium cladding, false ceilings, etc.), electrical, electro-mechanical and hydraulical installations/equipments and railway Works for the new Metro Line 5 of Bucharest. The Works are to be executed in 10 stations, 1 underground maintenance terminal and all the tunnels/galleries connecting them. The total length of the raiway line is approximately 15,5 km.The Value of the Contract (Red FIDIC type) is 164,00 Ml euro + 10% of contingencies. The initial Completion Time for the works was sixteen (16) months, progressively extended due to partial lack of site possession.At the moment of my appointment the completion rate of the Works was approximately equal to 40%.As Project Manager I am the head of the project, my duties being mainly to ensure the achievement of the cost - quality - time objectives of the Contract governing all the factors of production, to manage the contractual aspects of the Project and the contacts with the Client, the Engineer and the Joint Venture partners, to manage the claiming activities, to represent the Company in the Project. Meno dettagli The project (Contract Value: 240 MLN Euro) consists in the execution of the structural works of the first segment of subway Line 5 of Bucharest, including excavation and construction in top-down of 9 stations and 6 ventilation shafts, TBM works (mounting and installation phases, start up and excavation phase of 8 km of tunnel), dewatering and consolidation works, deviation of utilities. At the moment of my appointment the completion rate of the Works was approximately equal to 70%.My duties are mainly to ensure the achievement of the cost - quality - time objectives of the Contract governing all the factors of production, to manage the contractual aspects of the Project and the contacts with the Client, the Engineer and the Joint Venture partners, to manage the claiming activities, to represent the Company in the Project.
