Crenshaw distinguished himself by meritorious service as Fuels Distribution Supervisor, 627th Logistics Readiness Squadron, 627th Air Base Group, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington. During this period, Sergeant Crenshaw ignited the 62d Airlift Wing mission by delivering fifty-five million gallons of fuel for the command's second largest site, advancing seven million tons of cargo. His efforts drove Exercise RAINIER WAR, executing the first C-17 to F-35 Integrated Combat Turn, solidifying proof of concept and providing expedited multilateral fuel support to the Joint Special Operation Command, enabling 103 special operation missions. Additionally, he led four joint training events for Exercise KEEN SWORD, certifying twenty members on fuel system operations and readying the 16th Combat Aviation Brigade. Lastly, he pioneered the first ever Arctic wet wing defuel, garnering a coin from the 140th Fighter Wing Commander and a Wing team of the quarter award. His efforts gained him two Fuels Flight Pumper of the Month awards and early promotion as a Senior Airmen Below-the-Zone. Additionally, while deployed to March Air Force Base, he distributed one million gallons of jet fuel and liquid oxygen across two thousand aircraft. His contributions sustained McChord Field’s flight operations through an eight million dollar runway repair, propelling twenty-five percent of the Air Mobility Command’s strategic airlift mission. Finally, Sergeant Crenshaw deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar in direct support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM’S SENTINEL. He delivered 1.6 million gallons of fuel to 379 aircraft, enabling nine thousand sorties, the movement of 140 thousand joint warfighters and twenty-five million tons of cargo. His dedication energized a one million square-mile radar advantage for the Combined Forces Air Component Commander and twenty mutli-national allies which gained him the recognition and a coin from the Air Force Expeditionary Center Commander.
