  Managed operating location comprised of five officers, eleven Non-Commissioned Officers and one civilian from Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) and Air Force Space Command (AFSPC). Led suitability evaluation of the $13B Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) during operational test and evaluation. Wrote and executed test plans for collection of SBIRS Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) operational suitability data. Senior enlisted advisor to the commander for diverse 9-person team at geographically-separated operating location. Led Space-Based Infrared System (SBIRS) Missile Defense/HighlyElliptical Orbit (HEO) satellite suitability testing. Supervised maintenance of the $5M Teletype Automated Relay Equipment (TARE) telecommunications system supporting command and control missions of Allied Command Europe and North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). Directed all testing, repair, and maintenance of the TARE in accordance with NATO procedures. Managed requirements for the TARE system, test equipment, spare parts, and requisitions. Conducted and oversaw configuration management for 80 separate mission systems consisting of 1730 individual assets. Operated and maintained the Base Area Network, Defense Information Systems network and a $29M communications infrastructure for over 4,900 base-wide customers, directly supporting the 437th Airlift Wing, 315th Airlift Wing, and 17 tenant organizations. Deployed worldwide to support unified commanders during crises, contingencies, joint readiness exercises, and natural disaster relief missions as a member of the only joint tactical communications unit under the direct deployment control of the joint staff. Operated and maintained the AN/TTC-39A (V)3 Tactical Automatic Circuit Switch, Redcom Integrated Gateway Exchange, Transit Case Circuit Switch (TCCS), and CV-4180 Line Termination Units. Maintained a wide spectrum of computer systems including IBM 3033 and 4381 and their associated peripherals and power conditioning systems providing Defense Support Program missile warning. Trained multiple personnel on maintenance procedures and was readily available for troubleshooting consultation. Performed duties as Assistant Crew Chief, Safety Monitor, Equipment Custodian, and Supply Custodian.
