  Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Women's Economic Empowerment As part of the Secretariat team for the UN Secretary-General's High-Level Panel on Women's Economic Empowerment, it is my role to support the Panel by coordinating key messages, web development, utilising social media for advocacy, developing infographics, standardising internal processes, writing press releases, crafting slide decks, distributing letters amongst members and assisting the Chief of the Secretariat on an array of work areas. The High- Level Panel (HLP) is co-chaired by Simona Scarpaleggia, CEO IKEA Switzerland, and President Luis Guillermo Solís of Costa Rica. It is committed to shifting the needle on Women's Economic Empowerment and has defined 7 key drivers of change, as well as, 4 areas of work. The HLP has released 2 comprehensive reports to date and plans to follow the 2nd report presentation to Secretary-General António Guterres with a series of toolkits designed around those 7 drivers of change and key actions that can be taken by government, private sector and civil society. Both reports stress the importance of partnership amongst those stakeholders in achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda surrounding women and gender. Show less
