  Court monitor

  This was a very customer-facing role, dealing with a wide range of ages and people. I was responsible for overviewing that the rules of the park were being kept to, dealing with customers and ensuring the safety of customers and staff alike. This role required a high level of teamwork, with a maximum capacity of over 180 customers at one point and only 6/8 court monitors on shift, we had to keep constant communication and organisation between staff members to ensure the court rules were being followed. If this broke down then the risk of injury to customers increase massively and things can quickly get out of control, so maintaining a good line of communication between each court monitor zone was incredibly important. We also had to have really good interpersonal skills, each situation is different so being able to take a step back and see how to approach the situation, your delivery and body language was one of the best things about this role.   Worked in a family-owned corporate clothing and embroidery business during the holidays. Filling in wherever they needed me. Working in the office completing administration work, on the phone with customers, and in the warehouse checking in deliveries and checking out shipments to customers. Also helped process large orders during periods of high traffic mainly heat-sealing T-shirts and packaging.
