  This is a leadership role over and above being a Native Speaking Teacher (NST). In addition to the responsibilities of an NST, as Head NST, I was required to:- Lead a multinational mixed age team of six NSTs- Maintain teaching standards of all NSTs at the branch- Train new NSTs- Conduct teaching observations and lesson plan assessments- Conduct performance reviews and pay appraisals- Communicate and embed policy updates from Main Office and Branch Management to my team- Facilitate communication between Branch Management and my team- Promote branch morale: creating a positive environment at work especially during lockdown when we were teaching online - Conduct team meetings- Conduct disciplinary proceedings- Ensure safety of students and teachers (especially during earthquake and fire drills)- Manage the daily challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic with the objective of maintaining business continuity- Support the mental and emotional wellness of my team through the COVID-19 pandemic all of whom were living in a foreign country Show less
