  As Project Coordinator I had a variety of roles. I staffed two large, statewide committees that held teleconferences and face-to-face meetings, debated and discussed policies, and crafted recommendations for state regulation and statute. These focused on Early Intervention for children birth through three with special needs and Special Education. I wrote and spoke on behalf of the committees and coordinated all their activities. I identified great teachers in the field and brought them in to provide conferences and training on I.D.E.A. and managed the conferences in Anchorage and Juneau. Show less
