Taught teachers Second Step Violence Prevention and Life Skills Training.• Planned, provided and evaluated Staff Development workshops, facilitated trainings, focus groups and workshops for students, staff and administrators in dozens of districts and in all state Juvenile Justice facilities. • Recruited communities for Alaska Youth Data Surveys, developed and provided workshops at local, statewide, regional and national meetings.       As Project Coordinator I had a variety of roles. I staffed two large, statewide committees that held teleconferences and face-to-face meetings, debated and discussed policies, and crafted recommendations for state regulation and statute. These focused on Early Intervention for children birth through three with special needs and Special Education. I wrote and spoke on behalf of the committees and coordinated all their activities. I identified great teachers in the field and brought them in to provide conferences and training on I.D.E.A. and managed the conferences in Anchorage and Juneau. Show less
