With the help of a strong team and incredible leadership in the University, we successfully completed a $2 billion comprehensive capital campaign in December of 2013. Our final total was $2.135 billion. Generous donors named two schools in the process and helped to transform our campus. In June of 2016, we wrapped up a silent, mini-campaign with a $500 million target. We surpassed our goal seven months early and we finished at $597 million and Pitt is now preparing for its next multi-billion campaign.Prior to serving as vice chancellor, I did serve in other roles with institutional advancement at Pitt from June of 1997 through September 2003.
