  Journalist - SBS World Watch- Arabic TV News - Reporting and producing news and feature content for SBS Arabic TV News.- Working autonomously and to high editorial standards/responsibilities to undertake a range of journalism content for SBS Arabic TV News and other language platforms.- Generate, develop, and foster content ideas including identifying and using all available sources of vision and audio of specific interest to Arabic-speaking audiences in Australia.- Demonstrate strong national and international news judgement.- Write and produce high quality news & feature scripts and record voice-overs in Broadcast Arabic, using both internationally and locally sourced material as required. - Support and assist Executive Producer to ensure bulletin content is accurate and complies with Australian law and SBS Codes of Practice, Editorial Guidelines, and News and Current Affairs NACA Style Guidelines.- Sub-edit content and suggest imaginative treatments for complex stories.- Ensure bulletin content delivery meets deadlines. - Collaborate with other news and current affairs teams across SBS via radio, online and social media platforms.- Co-ordinate, supervise and collaborate with Craft Editors, Camera Operators and Graphic Designer to deliver quality news packages and live crosses, meeting broadcasting deadlines.- Order and assemble video material required for editing by cutting a Work in Progress (WIP), on the Dalet system.- Coordinate incoming content from various sources, assist reporters or correspondents on location.- Engage in clear and open communication with team members and cooperate with SBS and NACA colleagues.- Assist in training junior staff, casuals and other journalists as required.
