      My work on the Economic Challenges Facing Future Ministers grant, awarded by the Lilly Foundation, was focused on researching and programming around the economics of lay ministers in the Catholic Church. We worked to realize the true cost of education and formation to enter ministry, the effects of those costs on ministers in the field particularly looking at debt to income. I worked on financial education for current students, staff, and faculty for the graduate school. I coordinated events through the grant, including putting together an in-person and online gallery displaying art and poetry of the experience of lay and ordained ministers in the Church that was displayed in various places across the country.
