  I undertook a secondment to the $500m FutureFlow alliance. This position ran for approximately 12 months after which time I transitioned into the NVIRP lead design team. My role at FutureFlow included structural design and technical input across the full range of project scope.

  Australian Youth Ambassador for Development

  I was selected as an Australian Youth Ambassador for Development, mobilising in May for intake 30.My role provided engineering and project management support to the Ministry of Infrastructure, Timor Leste.Specifically, I worked in the Directorate of Roads, Bridges and Flood Control (DNRBFC) assisting and building capacity in the 2011 works program.

  Reporting to the Regional Manager Clients - Transport, I was responsible for client relationship management for all ports and maritime clients in South Australia. This includes strategic planning, business development and bid management functions.

  In this position at Jacobs (Formerly Sinclair Knight Merz) I was exposed to a wide variety of design, design management and site based roles.Projects of note include:-Project Manager, Joy Baluch AM Bridge Planning study. The project undertook a planning study including Infrastructure Australia Stage 1-4 submissions for the $200M Joy Baluch AM Bridge Duplication Project in Port Augusta (later incorporated into the Port Wakefield to Port Augusta Alliance Project).-Package Lead and Structural Engineer, Wayville Train Station Overpass. Lead the design and documentation of the unique, 52m spiralling box truss.-Project Manager and Lead Engineer, Little Horse and Big Horse Creek upgrades, NT. Undertook design of two pre-stressed concrete bridges and associated road upgrades on the Victoria Highway. Tasks included hydraulic and structural analysis, production of cost estimates, specifications and erosion sediment control plans.-Design and design management of over 1000 regulator structures for the Northern Victoria Irrigation Renewal Project. Managing a project team of up to 12 people across three different offices. Included in this role was approximately 6 months of site based construction supervision.-Structural Lead Designer for the Seaford Rail Extension Depot. Includes responsibility for budget, quality, resourcing and the design of three separate buildings as well as all ancillary structures.-Two month secondment to Christchurch, undertaking structural assessments of earthquake damage, providing repair methodologies and advice and reviewing statistical methods to model damage across large asset portfolios.-Co-Authored the Timor Leste Bridge Design Manual. The manual was written to AASHTO standards and covered the full breadth of bridge design issues. A particular focus was the inclusion of appropriate methods and techniques for the unique conditions of Timor Leste. Show less
